Here’s a door I painted for a client. She wanted a pixie peeping through a crack in the door to the cellar – I thought the idea was a bit sinister so added another pixie and had them chasing a butterfly.

The photo was taken in my studio just before the door was installed. The door was flat and white to start with, so all the wood graining is faux. As are the Pixies!

If anyone is wondering where I got the reference for the pixies from, I had photographed myself in various poses and quickly distorted them digitally until I got the desired proportions!
